Harpreet has extensive experience in areas of business planning, project management and market development for social enterprises & CSR programmes. He holds a B. Tech. from IIT Delhi and has had impactful stints with organizations like General Motors, TARAhaat and Development Alternatives. His experience in the development sector has spread across slum settlements of various cities across India and remote rural parts of North & Central India. His sectoral expertise lies in Livelihoods, Education, Corporate Responsibility and ICT for Development. Harpreet is an avid traveller and loves to read fiction. |
Deepika Malik
Deepika's proficiency lies in developing strategies for social institutions and CSR initiatives, aiming to simultaneously maximize impact and achieve self-sustenance.She holds a B.Tech. from IIT Delhi and started her professional career with a 2-year stint with Business Intelligence and strategy team at ICICI Prudential. Prior to joining Madd, Deepika effected positive changes in the social sector while working with organisations such as CRY, Pratham and AID in various capacities. She has led various projects in fields of livelihood enhancement, slum redevelopment, agriculture and labor empowerment |

Outreach Partners
MaDD works on a robust partnership model. We have built a pool of sectoral experts and a network of partner organizations to support grassroot level project implementation. Through the organizational network, we have strong access to slums of most Tier 1 and Tier 2 Indian cities, rural parts of most states of North & Central India, and Orissa.For specific projects, we engage these sector experts, local organizations and integrate them into our problem solving processes for effective outcomes.

Dr. Ashok Khosla
Dr. Ashok Khosla is one of world's leading experts on the environment and sustainable development.
He is Chairman of the Development Alternatives Group, a consortium of social enterprises creating large scale sustainable livelihoods since 1983. Earlier, he was Director of the Office of Environment, Government of India, and Director, Infoterra in the United Nations Environment Programme.
He is President of the IUCN and the Club of Rome and has been a Member of the Governing Bodies of the World Economic Forum in Davos, WWF, IISD, the Stockholm Environment Institute, WETV and several other Indian and international organizations. He has been board member of many government, industry and NGO bodies in India, including the National Security Advisory Board, the Science Advisory Committee to the Cabinet and the National Environment Council.
Ashok Khosla studied at the Universities of Cambridge and Harvard. He was awarded the highest Order of British Empire in 2008, the Stockholm Challenge Award in 2002, the UN Sasakawa Environment Prize in 2002 and the Schwab Foundation’s Award for Outstanding Social Entrepreneur in 2004.
